To celebrate 30 years of of Latvian independence from Soviet Union, since Latvia declared restoration of independence in 1990, Karosta Festival took place on June 6-14, 2020. The Festival was part of Latvia 100 program. Because of Covid-19 Karosta Festival was the first and only summer festival in Latvia in 2020. During the festival I created 10 meters and 3 meters high mural deer in Redans, which combined both Estonian and Latvian colors and patters as well as nature and war symbols, what were inspired by place history.
