Urban vs Rural 2015

"Urban versus rural” is practical part of artist bachelor`s thesis made in 2015. The thesis focused on kindergarten mural paintings “City” and “Rural”, which were inspired by following theme ” “Urban versus rural” The murals were decorated in Eerika`s kindergarten.

​Mural in the hallway- “City”- were inspired by the the highway on the floor, which were decorated by the children. The motifs on the city painting are based on various Estonian road signs.

​Nature room mural is painted as panoramic landscape. Trees from different terrestrial ecosystems significances nature biological diversity, tolerance and world space. Collage birds were inspired by kindergarten's department birds names   All birds at wall were from Estonian nature, many from rare species.
