Slowball Art On Wheels 2017

Slowball 2017 was an international road trip what travelled through Estonia- Finland- Sweden and Aland Islands from 2nd to 6th of August in 2017. During the trip seven  “Art on wheels” exhibitions were hold at following cities: Tallinn- Helsinki- Paminne – Fiskars – Turku and Mariehamn.

Local and international artists were given opportunity to paint  an old cars with their personal style and supported materials. The idea of project was to give old machines a new live with great outlook  and support talented artist  by giving their freedom to  express their creativity.

An old Ford Escort painted with various blues, black and white display ancient sea and land creatures from different islands. Reptiles are mythological and historical creatures in different cultures which can represent human fear, power and darkness as well the beauty of  wise knowledge .
