Slowball Art On Wheels 2017

In 2017, I was invited to paint an old car for Slowball’s “Art on Wheels” project.
I transformed a Ford Escort with blue, black and white colours, adding sea and land creatures inspired by mythology, history and different island cultures.
The reptile motifs explore themes of fear, power, darkness and wisdom, giving the old car a new and distinctive identity.
